Mozart's virtuoso opera Die Entfürung aus dem Serail was directed by Nigel Warrington, who, together with American set designer Edward Pierce and Danish costume designer Ellen Pierce, created a sumptious and sometimes surprising production of one of Mozart's most popular operas. Again critics and audiences were unanimous in their praise for an Aarhus Sommeropera production, which led to yet another Reumert nomination for best opera.
