The Danish Sinfonietta - Randers Kammerorkester

Following the immense success of Tugt og Utugt i Mellemtiden and Edens Gave, both based on Svend Åge Madsen books, Aarhus Sommeropera persuaded the Århus author to write four completely new, short texts for this project.

Set to music by composer Peter Bruun, the new scenes were designed for performance in the public arena, at the railway station, the main library, Bruuns Galleri, and Bazar Vest. They took everyday life as their starting point, but in the hands of Bruun and Madsen more universal themes became interwoven into the fabric of the drama. The scenes were directed by one of Denmark's most experienced and respected directors, Hans Rosenquist, together with his Swedish colleague, Eyvind Andersen, so audiences (and the unexpecting general public) experienced a new and unusual dramatic event.
